The Night Manager role involves a range of duties but is essentially being responsible for the hotel, guests and customers of the Palace Hotel & Casino from the hours of 10pm to 7am.
This includes monitoring a lively building that has several food and drink operations, dealing with customer requests or guest queries for the 135 bedrooms, ensuring function rooms are correctly set up for the following day, reception duties (including learning the in-house reservations system) and providing detailed and efficient handovers for the day team and other departments.
The successful applicant must have previous experience in management or a supervisory role. The role requires excellent customer service skills and the ability to work under pressure, particularly over busy weekend shifts.
